What good answers contain
Listen for a clear grasp of the skills the post actually needs, a commitment to doing high-quality work, and a habit of keeping knowledge current and sharing it with others rather than guarding it.
Signs of a weak answer
Watch for candidates who can't pin down the skills the role really requires, who lean on a couple of narrow examples of expertise, who look down on people with less knowledge, or who prefer to keep what they know to themselves.
