What panels expect at Band 7: Senior / team-lead level. As Band 6 — maintaining and exceeding the standard, coaching others and contributing to best practice — with greater scope and responsibility. Leadership qualities also begin to be assessed.

Service Improvement
- Describe an improvement project led by others that you contributed your own input to.
- Tell me about a time you identified a complex service issue.
Quality
- Describe a decision you faced where there were several quality options to weigh up.
- What do you do in your current role to make sure you provide a quality service?
Equality and Diversity
- Tell me about a time you were pressured to act against your own values on equality and diversity.
- Give an example of a time you made sure equality and diversity policy worked for the benefit of patients and staff.
