Care and Compassion
- What does excellent, compassionate care mean to you, and how do you role-model it across your area?
- Tell me about a complex situation rooted in care and compassion that you had to manage.
Technical / Role Specific Skills
- How do you keep your professional knowledge current and ahead of change?
- Tell me about a recent time you set or applied best practice in your field.
Communication
- Give an example of when you adapted your communication style to get your message across.
- Describe a time you encouraged a negative or reluctant person to contribute positively.
Personal and People Development
- Tell me about a time you gave someone, or a team, honest feedback on their performance or conduct.
- How do you measure your own performance, and how is that different from measuring your team's?
Health, Safety and Security
- Tell me about a complex health, safety or security issue you had to manage.
- How do you shape the health and safety policies of your department or organisation?
Service Improvement
- Tell me about a time you spotted a chance to improve a service and drove it forward for patients or staff.
- Give an example of a time you spotted a shortcoming and acted without waiting to be told.
Quality
- Tell me about a time you made sure your team, patients or peers understood the quality required for a task.
- Talk me through how you have planned, delivered and reviewed quality within your area.
Equality and Diversity
- Which equality and diversity qualities do you most respect and value in others?
- Tell me about a complex equality and diversity issue you had to manage.
